The prime minister is the one who leads the Government, and he is responsible for selecting other ministers. The ministers and the prime minister make a cabinet. They are the most crucial policy makers in the Government.
Ministers who are selected by the prime minister are all members of the parliament.
The elected government is responsible for suggesting what the monarch should do. It is the work of the cabinet to advise the monarch because they are part of a group called a privy council. Their powers enable them to act as leaders of government departments.
The prime minister is selected by the monarch to be the leader of the party in case he/she gets most votes in the parliament.
